Immersive Experiences AHRC funding

The Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invite applications for follow-on funding for their research and partnership development for the next generation of immersive experiences. This allows those funded under the original call to continue to build partnerships in the immersive experience space and to ensure the widest possible impact from the initial AHRC/EPSRC investment.

Projects can apply for knowledge exchange, public engagement, dissemination and commercialisation activities. New partnerships may be added to achieve this.

Applicants must show how the work proposed is distinct to the work previously funded under the original call, and must add significant value to any pathways to impact identified in the original award. Projects must be lead by a PI or Co-I funded under the original call and must be a partnership between academic and non-academic partners. Only one application may be submitted by each previously funded partnership. Projects must start on or before 1 February 2019.

Awards are worth between £10,000 and £40,000. At least 10 projects are likely to be funded.

The closing date is 16th October 2018 and full details are here. Thomas Trewhella is your contact.
