‘Science in Public’ Conference in Cardiff

Cardiff University will be hosting the ‘Science in Public 2018’ conference at the School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University, from December 17-19 – and we would love you to join us there. This will be the latest iteration of the Science in Public Network’s annual conference, and follows a highly successful event in Sheffield in 2017: https://scienceinpublic.org/conferences/

Under the theme, ‘Intersecting Science,’ the 2018 conference will collectively explore the multiple ways that scholars in STS, Science Communication, History of Science, and related fields, have cut across and into the natural sciences.  You can see the full details of our theme, and the streams for the conference at our website:  https://www.sip2018cardiff.com/

The keynote speakers for the event will be Margaret Lock (McGill), Barbara Prainsack (Vienna) and Alice Mah (Warwick). Due to industrial action, the full call for papers will not be released until late March, but please in the meantime hold the dates, and look out for updates or follow us on Twitter at: @SiP2018 and #SiPCardiff
