The University of Warwick is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the University’s new Public Engagement Unit to help develop and support public engagement across the institution.
This is a diverse role which will play a key part in facilitating the University-wide public engagement network, managing and writing for the public engagement webpages and communicating activities via online channels and social media, which you will also manage and develop. You will devise and create opportunities to share best practice and celebrate public engagement with research, to a wide range of audiences, both internally and externally.
You will be educated to graduate level and will have experience of working in public engagement or communications, preferably in an educational or HE environment. You will need excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills and a strong track record of forming successful working relationships. You will be capable of working with people at all levels of seniority.
Salary: £29,301 to £38,183 pro rata
Hours: Full time
Contract type: Fixed term/temporary for three years.
