Aston University have an exciting opportunity for a NCOP Officer to support in the delivery of the University’s contribution to the NCOP programme. The successful candidate will develop a range of interventions to support students as part of the agreed NCOP programme design.
Salary: £25,298 to £30,175 per annum

In order to be successful in this role, you must possess the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with senior representatives, practitioners, young people and parents. Experience of financial and general administration including use of finance systems, maintaining financial records and processing orders and invoice, is essential for this role.
The post will involve extensive liaison with local partners through the Aimhigher framework and other potential partners as well as staff in schools and colleges. This will require a considerable amount of tenacity, tact and sensitivity to the situation and existing commitments of staff in schools, colleges, and the University, as well as the imagination, initiative, enthusiasm, and creativity to seize and develop opportunities for widening participation.
Since this post may involve substantial unsupervised contact with young people, it is an exception under the act and the successful applicant will be required to undergo a DBS check.
