As we gear ourselves up for a long hot summer of feverish activity it occurs to me that Graphic Science could do with a bit of help. I am wondering if there are any absolutely brilliant scicomm people in the South West who would like to come and work with us either as a freelance, part time or maybe full time? Probably for a fixed 12 month contract. Salary/day rate depends on a lot of things; this is not an auction and you will not be asked to “state your salary expectations”. We will offer what we believe to be fair and affordable and take it from there.
Ideally, we are looking for somebody with experience in the areas of research and evaluation using qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Interest or experience in policy or management would be an advantage. The work is likely to encompass a range of tasks, including project management, desk research, data collection, analysis and report writing. It may include some dissemination or public speaking, but no delivery of engagement activities. As always we are eager to hear from bright creative individuals who have something interesting to offer.
READ THIS BIT: This role will be based at Graphic Science’s offices in rural North Somerset. There is no public transport, but there are dogs, aeroplanes, free tea & coffee and organic fruit.
Naturally this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic blah blah blah oh, and there is a barn with swallows and a juvenile tractor.
