UK Space Agency Exploration funding

The UK Space Agency invites applications for its exploration, education and outreach opportunity. This enables organisations to run schemes that support the education and outreach aims and objectives of the UK Space Agency’s exploration programme. It aims to build upon the agency’s investment in the ISS and SciSpace programmes for human spaceflight and microgravity research, as well as the Aurora programme. Proposals for human spaceflight and microgravity research may link to any element of these areas, including:

  • Tim Peake’s flight;
  • human spaceflight and exploration in general;
  • scientific research that utilises the International Space Station;
  • scientific research that uses other space environments and analogues.

The total budget is worth up to £140,000 to fund between three and six awards. Funding may cover contributions to salaries, costs of materials and travel and subsistence.

Closing date: 12 noon, 14th July 2017. Full details here, and…
