UK Space Agency Education & outreach

The UK Space Agency invites applications for its education and outreach opportunity. This enables organisations to run schemes that support the education and outreach aims and objectives of the UK Space Agency’s exploration programme. It aims to build upon the agency’s investment in earth observation, the satellite launch programme and the James Webb space telescope, as well as other programme areas, although these will be given lower priority. Proposals may link to any element of these areas, including:

  • computing and digital programmes;
  • engineering;
  • science;
  • other topics where space provides the context for learning.

The total budget is worth up to £140,000 to fund between two and four awards. Funding may cover contributions to salaries, costs of materials and travel and subsistence.

The application form can be found here , closing date is 5pm, 22nd of September 2017 and any further questions can be directed to Susan Buckle.
