I am looking for science educators to join an online school that I have been working for the past three years. The school is based in Shenzhen, a city located immediately north of Hong Kong, but you would be working remotely. It is specialises in teaching English to school-aged Chinese children from the ages of seven to fifteen. We are currently looking for science teachers to teach our primary science courses.
The classes are carried out on a live-video classroom platform. Students and teachers can talk, view class materials, share media, and annotate at the same time. The classes are lively, fun and educational. All lesson materials will be provided.
Teachers are able to work from the comfort of their own homes in the hours and days of their choosing. However, the key hours are 12pm to 2pm during BST (7pm to 9pm Beijing time)
Desired skills
- This is an EFL setting, some experience of teaching EFL students would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or education
- 3+ years teaching experience in science and/or other subjects in primary school education.
- Online teaching experience would be an advantage.
The hourly rate paid depends on your experience but will fall between 16 and 24 US dollars per class (55 minutes). You get paid weekly.
