It’s that time again – we’re looking for two moderators to work with us on our online events this November. We’re running I’m a Scientist UK and Ireland, I’m an Engineer UK and I’m a Medic.
The job consists of moderating live chats, approving students’ questions, checking content and generally helping to run the events. We’re after someone who has great attention to detail, picks stuff up easily, and ideally has an interest in STEM engagement. We’d also like to know if you are on the DBS update service.
You’ll need to be available for the full 10 days, and as you’ll be working remotely must also have broadband that doesn’t die every 10 minutes. It’s a lot of fun, and a great experience as the students (and scientists) are quick, funny and full of energy.
Dates: 6th – 17th November, Monday – Friday (plus Skype training on Thursday 2nd November 11:00-12:00)
Hours: 37.5/week – 8:30 – 16:30
Pay: £8.00/hr
Please send a CV and short cover letter by 10am Friday 20th October to michaela@mangorol.la, telling us why you think you’d make a good moderator.
You can find out more about the events at: I’m a Scientist UK and Ireland, I’m an Engineer UK and I’m a Medic UK.
