I am very excited to announce that I will be running a 3-day course on ‘The Poetry of Science’ with the award-winning poet Helen Mort at the Manchester Writing School from 29th – 31st May.
In this course, internationally renowned scientists, poets, and science-poets will provide an introduction to the links between science and poetry, and how the two disciplines can work together to better understand the world and the way in which we live. Participants will have the opportunity to work on poems that help to communicate and re-consider scientific topics, and will be provided with feedback and advice on how to make them more effective, engaging and empathetic.
