Neuroendocrinology outreach & public engagement grant

The British Society for Neuroendocrinology invites applications for its outreach and public engagement grant. This enables society members to organise public engagement activities aimed at school children or the general public to communicate the science of neuroendocrinology. Activities supported include:

  • presentations open to the general public;
  • talking to a classroom of children about neuroendocrinology, and careers in science;
  • hosting a stand at a science festival;
  • developing online, video, audio, or print resources for the public.

Members who have hold their membership for at least six months, and public engagement professionals may apply. Non-members must be partnered with a member of the society to develop and deliver the activity. Preference is given to applications that include activities which promote widening participation in science of historically underrepresented groups.

Grants are worth up to £500 each and there is no deadline. Full details are here and application form is here.
