Do you work with schools? The Great Science Share for Schools is designed to get children sharing their science with new audiences, which can include parents and the wider community. It takes place on 19 June 2018. They are especially keen to find more hosts in Wales and Northern Ireland.
Sarah Bearchell is coordinating the Oxfordshire Satellite event by working with one of her regular schools to create a science fair where pupils will be teaching each other and parents/carers with invitations to the wider community. Its the kind of event I’ve seen empower children in their confidence with science and public speaking.
You don’t need to be a teacher to coordinate an event, but most events are held in schools.
You can read more about it here and can register your interest here.
