The Physiological Society is excited to announce the launch of its brand new Outreach Grant Scheme for 2019. This scheme replaces our previous Public Engagement Scheme and is open to both members and non-members for grants of any value up to £20,000. We particularly encourage collaborations between science communicators, artists, facilitators of public engagement, and our members.
Projects must fulfill one of these three aims:
- To increase understanding and awareness of physiology amongst the non-expert public.
- To increase awareness of the opportunities available to those who pursue physiology in their education.
- To increase engagement with physiology research.
Applications for grants of any value up to £500 will be accepted on an ad hoc basis and reviewed throughout the year. The deadline for stage one applications for grants between £500 and £20,000 is the 31st January 2019. Find out more and apply here: http://www.physoc.org/outreach-grants
