The Materials Science Departments in the United Kingdom are seeking to appoint a nation-wide outreach coordinator to launch an ambitious outreach campaign. The postholder will work closely with Materials Departments/Schools at the University of Birmingham, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, Loughborough University, University of Manchester, Queen Mary University of London, University of Oxford, University of Sheffield, and Swansea University to develop and manage the campaign. The post is funded by the Henry Royce Institute, and the postholder will be expected to develop close ties with the Institute. The position is hosted by the University of Birmingham, and the post will be for 18 months initially.
