Aston University are seeking to appoint a new Recruitment and Pathways Manager to join their Admissions, Recruitment and Outreach Department. The purpose of this post is to manage the University’s UK Student Recruitment Team and create, implement and manage the University’s new Widening Participation pathways programmes. Following appointment, this post will manage key stakeholder accounts linked to recruitment priorities, as well as launch the new pathways for the University. The post holder will manage a small team (under 10 staff) and will report to the University’s Head of UK Recruitment and Outreach.
In order to thrive in this new, broad and varied role, the successful applicant must possess excellent relationship management skills, have experience of managing budgets and a fast paced team. They must be a confident and engaging public speaker. The post holder will also need to liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders and must have experience of acquiring senior stakeholder buy-in. Applicants are required to be educated to degree level or have an equivalent qualification. Previous experience of working within 13-19 education, further education or higher education is essential.
The anticipated start date for the role is asap.
Satisfactory DBS disclosure will be required for this post.
