I’m A Scientist are looking for moderators to work with us for 2 weeks this March. You’ll be helping out with our online events, I’m a Scientist UK, I’m an Engineer UK and I’m an Engineer Ireland.
The job consists of moderating live chats, approving students’ questions, checking content and generally helping to run the site. We’re after someone who has great attention to detail, picks stuff up easily, and ideally has an interest in STEM engagement. You’d be working from home, so you must also have broadband that doesn’t die every 10 minutes. The event is Monday to Friday for 2 weeks and you must be available to work the full 10 days!
It’s a lot of fun, and a great experience as the students (and scientists and engineers) are quick, funny and full of energy.
Dates: 4th – 15th March, Monday – Friday
Hours: 37.5/week, 08:30 – 16:30 GMT
Pay: £9.50/hr if DBS checked and on update service, £9.00/hr if not DBS checked
To apply, please send a CV and short cover letter by 10am Friday 15th February to amy@mangorol.la, telling us why you think you’d be a good moderator. You can find out more about the events at: I’m a Scientist UK, I’m an Engineer UK and I’m an Engineer Ireland.
