Big Bang Fair 2020 – Research and Innovation Hub

The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair is open for proposals for its Research and Innovation Hub.

The Big Bang Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths for young people in the UK. The Fair aims to bring these subjects to life in a big way by allowing our young visitors to get hands on with over 120+ STEM activities. The Big Bang Fair will take place from the 11th-14th March 2020 in the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham. Over 4 days we welcome approximately 80,000 visitors.

The Research and Innovation Hub is new for 2020 and will allow visitors to experience cutting-edge science and technology research, talk to university professionals, and understand the potential of a career in research. The Hub with be set up as a grid of up to 9 research projects, where each group will be allocated their own space in the grid. Groups can talk about their research, along with some hands-on activities at their stand for the visitors to take part in.

As an exhibitor you will be eligible to attend our Kick-Off meeting for exhibitors in January at the NEC, and our STEM and Careers Messaging workshop in December in London. At The Fair there is also the opportunity to take part in our ‘Meet the Future You’ stage show panels at the Careers Cabin, where you, or a member of your team, can talk to our visitors about your research and career.
