The British Association for American Studies invites applications for its public engagement and impact award. This supports public engagement and impact projects by postgraduate and early-career members of the association in any field of American studies. Projects must disseminate new research to non-academic audience or work collaboratively with an external organisation.
Postgraduate and early-career researchers who are members of the association may apply. An early-career researcher is an individual who is within eight years of the award of their PhD or equivalent professional training, or an individual who is within six years of their first academic appointment.
One award worth £750 is available to cover the costs of meetings, including organising workshops or conferences designed to bring together project partners and to showcase the project.
