The ‘I’m a Scientist, Get Me Out of Here!’ team are looking to hire two moderators to work on their online events, I’m a Scientist and I’m an Engineer, for two weeks this June.
The job consists of moderating live chats, approving students’ questions, checking content and generally helping to run the site. They are after people who have great attention to detail, who pick stuff up easily, and ideally have an interest in STEM engagement. You’d be working from home, so you must also have broadband that doesn’t die every 10 minutes.
It’s a lot of fun, and a great experience as the students (and scientists) are quick, funny and full of energy.
Dates: 13th – 24th June, Monday – Friday
Hours: 37.5/week – 8:30 – 16:00
Please send a CV and short cover letter by Monday 30th May to firstname.lastname@example.org, telling us why you think you’d be a good moderator.
You can find out more about the events at: imascientist.org.uk and imanengineer.org.uk. The full advert is here and if you have any questions about the job, please feel free to drop Michaela an email.
