We are looking for a full-time Programme Manager and Programme Co-ordinator to join our team and play an active role in achieving this mission.
The Times Cheltenham Science Festival welcomes around 60,000 visitors over a 6-day period in June every year and features a vibrant programme of events for adults and families. The Festival also has an extensive Schools programme and a Festival village site with many interactive zones, exhibits, and live demonstrations.

The Times Cheltenham Science Festival Programme Manager
Salary £25,000 per annum + 5% pension contribution and ticket allocation
We are looking for somebody with a track record and enthusiasm for curating events to target specific and new audiences plus an understanding of the science communication landscape, multi-disciplinary programming and production.
You will be well organised, have meticulous attention to detail and enjoy working in a team and sharing creative ideas, but you will also need to be self-reliant, with the drive and initiative to prioritise and manage complex workloads in a cross team environment. Most importantly you will have a passion for science and be committed to innovative ways of engaging the public in contemporary science matters.
Cheltenham Festivals is a leading cultural organisation with around 36 days of festivals of Literature, Jazz, Music and Science as well as year round educational projects.

Most importantly you will have a passion for science, politics, current affairs and knowledge of topical issues and be committed to innovative ways of engaging the public.
