Explorer Dome Midlands is looking for a presenter to help deliver their unique brand of lively, interactive, hands-on science shows in a mobile planetarium.
Well established in the South West of England, Explorer Dome is expanding into the Midlands from January and is looking for a freelance presenter to work 1 or 2 days per week during school term time, ideally on Mondays and Tuesdays (although this is flexible for the right candidate).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and engaging person in the Birmingham area who has a love for science. Some experience of working with children is essential and a BSc or above is desirable. Above all, you need to be able to get across complex scientific ideas to children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Once trained, pay starts at £75 per day (training pay is £60 per day) and progresses as you learn shows and gain experience.
