Artist + Scientist Residency, New York

Guerilla Science are excited to announce that applications are now open for an ArtSci Residency!

As part of their National Science Foundation project, The Pratt Institute, New York and Guerilla Science collective are hosting a residency for artist-scientist collaborations to bring transformational experiences to a major art and music festival in the United States. They are seeking applicants to develop new forms of site-specific interactive installations and live events that mix science with art, music, and play.

The residency will take place over six weeks beginning in June 2017, culminating at Oregon Eclipse festival. We are grouping scientists and artists to create a host of new events and installations to spark imagination and curiosity. The opportunity is open to international applicants and residents can work remotely, but must be present at the festival to present their work.

Applications open until 28 April 2017. Read more about the initiative and how to apply here.
