The Copper Development Association has recently launched its 2018 Uncover Copper competition, inviting UK students aged 11–16 to explore copper’s essential role in our present and future to win great prizes for themselves and their schools.
The Uncover Copper competition calls on students to uncover copper, seeking it out in buildings, health and medicine, and new applications in renewable energy and sustainable transport systems and design an A3 poster to highlight the role and importance of copper. First place in each category for each age group will win £100 plus £500 for their school and second place will win £50 plus £250 for their school.
