STFC ‘Wonder Match’ launched

Do you work with young people or disadvantaged communities in your region? Would you like to support them to engage with science and technology? Or are you a scientist or engineer who has a hunger to share the wonder of their research with others? Then the Wonder Match programme could be perfect for you.

The National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) is working with the Science and Technologies Facilities Council (STFC) to launch Wonder Match, a series of partnership-building events that are designed to support community organisations and STFC-funded scientists and engineers to explore collaborations that will support diverse audiences to engage with STFC science and technology.

The events help community organisations and researchers meet to develop project ideas together. As part of the event participants can apply for a small amount of funding to enable them to further develop their partnership approach.

Upcoming events will be held in Leicester (8th June), Glasgow (14th June), Manchester (TBC) and Birmingham (TBC).
